devil dog/ osaka pop star custom show

I am participating in the devil dog custom show which opens on halloween. in NYC. this is the blank devil dog. it came glossy, so I sprayed a primer over it for a matte surface to paint.
next I pulled off the ears, because I will paint those a different color.
and I sprayed the entire body blue.
starting with some painted details.
I'll post the rest of the 'progress' pictures next week.
opens oct. 31st 7-11pm at the showroom gallery NYC
the net proceeds go to benefit animal rescue.

the snake charmer

I don't like snakes in real life.... so an illustration of them will be just fine for me.
I tried to go outside of my normal pastel color pallet I usually use.
and here was the original sketch,  ball point pen.
**************
and on another note: metal for monsters went live oct. 1st. they have teamed up with artists to create limited edition pendants which will benefit UNICEF. I designed 2 pendants for them.  check it out!

some junk

this giraffe was for a friends son's school. I had to change the final color version to a more natural giraffe pallette, but this was my first color choice.
I did these bears about a year ago for Caboom studio. can't find the original sketches.
