August has passed and I did not make a dress during the month, but I did manage to sew up these tiny little airplane pants. Pretty easy.

I was contacted by MOO to make some business cards. I have always wanted to use them, but never tried their services before.  the cards turned out fantastic! I did 5 different designs, 100 cards total.  they even come in some really sturdy neato boxes too. the card paper quality is really super. a smooth satin finish.  the site was also easy to use to upload my designs, very streamlined, and simple. (and it shipped fast too) I will definitely order more products with moo in the future.  I think I will try their sticky cards next!  thanks MOO!!!!

july dress finished:

this is another oliver & S pattern. I really love this dress.  it's the first time I have done pin tuck pleats, and they are the bane of my existence.  

the fabric was made by Birch Fabrics!

I think this is my favorite dress so far, the fabric is just too cute! this fabric was made as a tribute line for Tammis Keefe.

red leaf dress

 this dress is from an oliver & S pattern. they make really cute patterns. the fabric I got at Purl.  this was my first time using piping and I really love the result.  it's time consuming, but worth it!

I am one of 12 artists in the jibibuts artist series by Noferin.  all the designs are really great, and the wooden toys are cool and cute.

Ok, there will be lots of sewing posts coming up, as I plan to sew more dresses with all my fabric. And a new wooden toy coming up too... Can't just overload on plush all the time.
